Highly recommend that you visit this place when you are in Bergen & when you want to escape the cookie cutter tourists places and feel more like the locals.- Group size

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The little café is cozy, welcoming, and absolutely delightful. The owner is incredibly friendly, kind, and made our stay feel even warmer than the unexpectedly hot summer days in Bergen. Every dish we tried was outstanding—by far the best Skagen I’ve ever had and a wonderfully delicious fish pie. For me, this is hands down the best breakfast spot in Norway. The best mocha in Bergen. The absolute best mixed berry cake I've had and it was Vegan/Gluten free and SO MOIST. The veggie soup is so well seasoned with a little spice 😍
Overall no wonder this place has a perfect 5 star rating.

Small cafe - very cosy. Seating at the back, outside and upstairs (stairs only). Small tables. Very friendly staff - also speak English. Two gluten free cake options when I went in: raspberry with white chocolate (delicious) and carrot cake. Kept separated and use separate tools for handling. They have a gluten free sourdough bread to make any sandwich on the menu gluten free. Definitely recommend!

Lady boss is so friendly and welcoming. We felt so well taken care of. The food is amazing and we are so happy with our hearty meal. Must order the soup and the skagen. You will love it absolutely 🙌🏻🥰😍 please come and support this cafe!

The best gluten free sourdough!! The owner was so kind and she makes all of the food herself :) it was absolutely charming inside, and a perfect lunch! I’ll need to go back to try the gluten free cake

There is a reason that this cafe has never received anything but a 5* review. It is GLORIOUS. The service, coffee, food and decor is absolutely delightful. It’s absolutely a hidden gem. This cafe is guaranteed to bring sunshine into a rainy day. I only wish it were closer to my home in London, so I could visit more often.

Had a lovely iced oat milk latte and waffle with brown cheese here on my first morning in Bergen. The woman working the counter was lovely and cheery and was humming and singing along with the playlist (which was excellent). The room was cozy, the waffle with cheese was warm, soft and delicious, and all in all everything put me in a lovely mood to start my rainy day in Bergen. Highly recommend.

Cozy, relaxed cafe with delicious coffee☕️ The owner is very friendly and open to suggestions. I asked if I can get a pump of syrup for ice latte and she offered extra caramel syrup with no costs. This small two story house is filled with coffee and owner’s taste of design🫶 I’m not a coffee person but it was a very nice place to visit☺️

We were welcomed by the owner who was smiling all over the face and gave us directly a table where we could sit. The flat white was a little too hot but good enough for 5 stars! Mentioned the 5 stars: they have very tasty waffles and other snacks as well as milk alternatives like oat milk. So it was overall very nice time there and I just can highly recommend a stay there!

Great waffle, open faced shrimp sandwich (very generous amount of shrimp) and soup! The owner was also very friendly. Very cute café and a perfect place to stop for lunch 😊

Cute cafe with excellent coffee (the dagens kaffe is genuinely excellent - really flavoursome and complex when I had it) and light bites. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, with a nice view down a quiet street. The service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend stopping off here.
